Most of the criteria in the points system is really funny with no logic at all. Why First child being a Girl is given preference. It means if our first child is a Boy he does not have the "rights" to study in a Good school?? It means right from nursery a boy has to suffer for being a boy coz in college admissions also 5% cut off is reduced for girls. This is really not fair.
Is Siblings points criteria applicable only for parents having more than 1 child or is true for all. Does it mean if we have only one child we will get 0 in that criteria?? There should be some other criteria in lieu of this for parents having one kid.
Same this i have told Mr. vohra to ask, If we have first boy child, No sibling, No transfer case, no girl child then will our child get admission in good school in Delhi
authorities please open your eyes. a 3 yr old child is too youbg to go to a formal school. please give our children freedom to enjoy some initial years for themselves. let the play and grow and enjoy. why to put them in a ratrace from such an early age.
please increase the age crriteria to 4+.
anybody for gurgaon....here most of the schools hav already closed the admission taking 3.5 yrs & so....plz can nybody tell abt second round of admissions if any in the prime schools of gurgaon
Ya Namita even I want to know this as this was really shocking to me when I came to know that admissions in Gurgaon schools are already over. I din't even come to know whne they started and I wanted to keep it as option as we might have to shift to Gurgaon next year. Please nyone knowing this reply that will there be second round of admissions in the prime schools gurgaon or not. When all other criteria for admissions in Gurgaon schools is same as in Delhi 'Points system and all' then why the admissions in Gurgaon schools got over so early?
This is a good start for all
Dear Sir,

I have a question that my elder son reads in BalBharti Public school. But my younger has not been given admission in same school because of it I am facing a lot of problem as we both parents are working.

Kindly help me in this regard that atleast one sibling shd get admission in same school.
good job done by mr. vohra.......gr8 sir......atleast the govt broke his silence on this issue......nw v have 2 wait for 10 days for new guidelines is ok...coz we knw that nw the forms will be available from 15 dec for all da schools .....atleast we got some relief.....from moving here nd there in various schools......all da parents r demanding 4+ age i think it is correct but wht abt those who are near 4+.my son' dob is 10 june 2007....he is just 2 months younger as on "31march" their so called date.......if they want to set the crieteria they have to do like this.....from 3.5yrs onwards.....the children who were born after nov or dec are too young to attend a formal school thats true....bt in my case my son is going to play school for last one yr and if the age becomes 4+ then 1 more yr to a play school......that's my question to Mr. vohra.....means 2 yrs in a play school is justified.....if we were mentally prepared from the startng that our child will go to formal school at the age of 4+ we would not have put him in a play school so early.....bt as of now i think sending a child in a play school for 2 yrs is a utter nonsense.....(where there is nothng but red day orange days are celebrated) what to say next....?? hope these 10 days pass soon and any gud newz will cme.....
Dear Balvinder

Thanks A Bunch, Yes actually Its depends on age criteria that will be fixed by govt for Nursery .

So lets wait and watch i personally feel one year of play school is enough and govt might keep 3 yrs age as on 31 mar for nursery !!
totally agree with you on this..it doesnt make sense to send a child to playschools for 2 years..when everyone is ready to send there kids to playschools by 2+ what is the problem in sending them to school? i feel schools nowdays are no different from playschools...let me assure you this year it will be 3+ or 4+ by 30th september 2011
Even i strongly recommend to start the nursery admissions from 4+. competition is very high and child of 3 yrs of age is very small to take all that burden.

And also please advise whether the age criteria is considered as on March 31st or Sept 30 (as it used to be earlier).
it is 3 yrs on 31 mar (from last 2 years)
