According to thiis system my daughter will get 0 points so that means she has no Right to education....Where i am going to land up now...

This circular clearly shows that ...Selection should be on Random Basis.... Read carefully last couple of lines of Point 2. That means there can no point system. Schools are free to define categories but selection has to be on random basis.

Gist of DOE Guidelines-for Nursery Admissions 2011-12 in Delhi
1. 25% of total Nursery class strength should be EWS and criteria will be Random selection.
2. For remaining 75% seats in Nursery, each school has to devise its own policy with random basis selection based on different categories and criteria as per –objectives of the particular school, Siblings, Transfer cases, Single Parents and Alumni. No profiling of students on parents’ educational qualifications of the. No screening test/interview. (No specific mention of Neighbourhood criteria’).
3. Each school has to send its Admission Policy with clear laid out categories and criteria to DOE within 2 weeks and then only has to make it public. Admission process will start from 1st Jan2011.
4. These guidelines have to followed by all such schools including minority institutions specified as per section 2(n) of RTE Act as-Govt. schools, aided school receiving grant from Govt., school belonging to a specified category like- Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik Schools etc., any kind of unaided school not receiving any grant from Govt.
5. Minority institutions- Madrasas & Vedic Pathshalas-who are exclusively catering to religious and linguistic minorities, do not come under RTE Act so they can have their own system of Admissions.

No u need to have court orders of legally divorced

Hi Sakshi, I have read at a few places than an affidavit can work incase the proceedings havnt begun. Do you think that will help?
