Process after filing up the nursery admission form

I want to confirm that after filing the nursery admission form, parents have to follow up with the schools or they have to just wait for the draw list. Please suggest the process after filling the form.

Draw of lots if tie of points

Some schools do draw of lots only like some convents (school specific)
