Aadhaar ID of Child - Is it mandatory?

Hi,
A lot of schools have asked for Aadhaar ID of child in the online form. Is it mandatory to provide?
e.g.
Hans Raj Model School, Punjabi Bagh
Kulachi Hans Raj Model School, Ashok Vihar
Bal Bharati Public School,Pusa Road
Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh
Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Pitampura

How long does it take to get the Aadhar card made?

Bal Bharti Pusa Road has kindly confirmed that to register for admission, Aadhar Card of the child is not mandatory. But if the child is considered for admission, one needs to give a copy of Aadhar Card. It is thus advised to apply for the same at the earliest.

Does the Aadhar Card have to be on a Delhi Address? Or it can be any other city's address also? Asking this as we are moving from another city to Delhi. My child's aadhaar card has another city address.

Salwan montessori Naraina also requires adhar card of child. We do not have it. What to do in such cass?

Apply for future ..no problem it will be help ful

3-4 article will come today highlighted by Mr Vohra and confirmed not mandatory

As per DOE complaint as not mentioned in doe guidelines and then they will do the need full

Dps EOK  proof of address asking to documents adhar card either of parents or child but inside the form there is column for adhar no. of child....what to do

some parents confirmed yesterday on this thread or some other thread they submitted successfully dps vv forms without aadhar card..double chk with school

Hi Anjali, though Adhar card no is there in form but it is not mandatory to fill it.
