Education seems to be a profitable business, that's why so many "business chains" have come into this. So, they might be considering alumini of an old school to get admission into a newer school.

even if they have 2-3 alumni -
3000 parents applies for 20 seats last year so what are there chances if no siblling ?

i doubt.....even 2-3 alumini might not be there for this school.
yah...agreed......it will be difficult to get admission just on neighbourhood even if u live next door, there will definitely be quite a few sibling cases...

i agree that schools in new locations eg dwarka which has a school population why there are points for alumini.
Also why are there points for siblings for the first born child. this is no justice.
I would request Mr. Vohra to please talk to the relevant people in this regards
