Can someone please confirm if one is allowed to apply in multiple branches of the school....is this permissible as per the schools or there a restriction?

hi nitin,

i don't think there is any problem in this..

however branches of well known schools are situated quite far to each other...so you can get priority (more weightage) as per neighourhood criteria in only one branch near to you.. that itself minimises multiple selection in more than one branches...e.g. modern school vasant vihar & humayun road branches are placed quite far..

n also do u know the cut off point for bb ppura n rohini

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Registration
a) General/Staff Category - Completely On-line on school website www.dpsrkp.net
b) EWS- Manual Registration Forms available from Admission Office of Delhi Public School, Sector 12, R K Puram, New Delhi on all working days from 01st January 2011 to 15th January 2011 between 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm. Registration Forms will be issued after submission of Income Certificate from concerned SDM.
c) The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all applicants and to maintain transparency in the admission procedure.
d) Every year, we have more applicants than number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her caliber.

2. Release of Advertisement - 30th December, 2010 (Thursday) - Indian Express, Times of India and Hindustan Times.

15. Final Admission Formalities
(Final admission is subject to verification of the following documents to be produced in Original). Photocopies will not be accepted.

b) Proof of residence (Passport/Registered Lease Deed/Electricity Bill/MTNL Bill/Electoral Card)
Note : School will also verify the residential address through home visit.
c) In case of Sibling, a copy of Fee Bill issued by the school office for the Academic Session 2010-2011.
d) In case of Alumni, a copy of the passing certificate of AISSCE (Class XII) issued by CBSE.
e) In case of First Born Child, an undertaking, signed by both parents, must be submitted as Certificate of Authenticity.
f) In case of applicants with Minimum Special Needs (a child, who can be mainstreamed under inclussive education with the available medical facilities in the school), a copy of Certificate of Disability from a Medical Officer of Govt. Hospitals.
g) In case of Single Parent, legal documents(Death Certificate and Undertaking of Single Status) would be required.
h) In case of players or coaches, certificate of participation as member of the Indian Team would be required.

How do I apply?
Where can I get the DPS, R.K. Puram registration form (General/Staff Category)?
The registration form is available online on this website www.dpsrkp.net only. You need to click on the relevant button Registration Form DPS Vasant Vihar OR Registration Form DPS East of Kailash, which are placed just at the bottom of this page.

What are the advantages of applying online?
When you apply online, you get an instant online receipt for your form alongwith the filled form as an acknowledgement. Further, the online process makes validations while you are submitting the form, i.e. you have not left any field blank, etc.

How do I get proof of registration of my form?
Immediately after submission of the form, a receipt with a Registration No. will be generated. Kindly take a print out of Receipt Page for all future references.

How do I know the application status?
All the lists will be uploaded online on this site as per the dates/schedule mentioned above.

What should I do if my locality is not listed?
If you do not fall in the neightbourhood localities as listed above, you can select "Out of Area" option in the drop down box of Residence Locality in the Online Registration Form. "Out of Area" option carries no point weightage.

If there is a mismatch between the residence address filled up by you and the locality selected by you, your registration will be automatically cancelled with no intimation to you.
