Venkateshwara : Criteria Changed

Hi All

I was casually scrolling through VIS website & found that they have changed the criteria. When I submitted the form, criteria was primarily based on distance (0-1,1-3, 3-6, 6+) however now the criteria include heavy weightage to Alumni, Staff Kid, Sibiling.

Distance only has 2 bands, 0-3 & Beyond 3.

When I submitted the form I distance on my form was 1-3 km now it is changed to "Beyond 3"

Also, timelines are changed too. Last date of submission is 14th Feb & first cutoff date is 7h Mar.

Not sure whats going on.Is there any govt authority monitoring this. Does govt has any say on these school...?

the last date of submission has been extended based on directive from Department of Education, Delhi Government (that's the govt body responsible)

Well what i  think is VIS is one of the school who reserves all seats for donation and play with our emotions.

Lot of parents i know last year had given handsome amount for admission.
