Comparison of Mount Carmel School Anand Niketan and Tagore International school Vasant vihar

Hi My son is presently studying in Class 1 in Mount Carmel School Anand Niketan. I want to change his school to Tagore International school vacant vihar. Pls share your feedback whether I should change or not with the reasons....

Hi Jaspreet ,

I guess that you should first tell us the reason/s why you are not happy with Mount Carmel. I will advise you to change the school only if you are not satisfied with the current school.

There is very very limited activities in the Mount Carmel School. Moreover academically they do not give any worksheets for practice on any topic. So pls advise me how about Tagore International in both academics as well as other things.

No I don't have any offer yet. That's why I wanted to have reviews or should I look for schools in Dwarka? I'm confused as to whether Mount Carmel Anand NIketan is good in the long run and I should not think about change or should I go for change ? pls suggest me other good schools better than MCS in Dwarka as I put up at Rajouri Garden.

I have a senior colleague whose child is in Class 12th in Tagore in VV . He has never had a single complaint against the school but on a lighter note he is a very content personality by nature . Going by what you have said about the limited activities in Mount Carmel , I think Tagore will be a better option as a child must have exposure to various kinds of indoor and outdoor activities especially in this tender age group.

Jaspreet, Is distance not a criteria for you at all? Rajouri Garden to Mount Carmel is pretty far with heavy traffic all day. TIS will be further away. Its too much to ask from a 5 year old. It takes a toll on child's health and aptitude in the long run. I would personally look for a school closer to home or move home closer to school.
