Very good question. This judgement, to my understanding grants the schools more room to be whimsical. Now that the schools have already received all applications, they can modify the criteria to suit their constituency of parents. Some of the schools like Shriram Vasant Vihar and few others had initially declared both criteria (their own and that of DOE) saying that finally it will depend on the High court Judgement. In such schools it is very clear but for others who only had advertised DOE guidelines will play with the criteria to their advantage. I dont think it is binding on them to follow last year's criteria. In nutshell, we can only wait and watch. - Largely helpless.

Let's hope that everything comes out in a proper shape and we can send our wards to a good school :)
