Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

As per the guidelines mentioned in their website (http://www.svis.org.in/content.aspx?enc=cGFnZT05), the candidate having minimum 70 points are eligible for draw.
Interestingly, according to their point system, candidate can have max 60 points due to distance criteria. Hence other 10 points can come if the candidate is a girl or sibling in the same school.
Hence a logical argument is that SVIS wants to consider only Girl child or Sibling in their draw.
Can any please elaborate or confirm this logical reasoning.

Please go through their registered list :http://www.svis.org.in/client_media/contentpage_7_9_9.pdf

Most of the candidates having 70 points are Girl candidate. Interesting !

SVIS had same criteria last year also...my son didnt even qualified for the draw

Why they call it a Draw? Do anyone consider it  a logical criteria.
They can directly ask for Management Quota in their website. :)

Both VIS and SVIS are only interested in money.....they sell their seats...i know many people who have given 50k-1 lakh donation in SVIS and 2 lakh + in VIS

I do not know about their quality of education at nursery, but I must say that the quality of education in their class 11 and 12 Science is  very poor as some of their students come to me for IIT JEE preparation. They do not even have proper experiment facilities in their lab. I do not know why they ask so much of donation even at Nursery level. :)

Have u seen DPS list also. They permitted only siblings in their selected list of candidate. If you have sibling in DPS than only u can admission there.

Interesting!

They are encouraging "Hum Do Hamare Do (or More)" :)

Only problem exists for the first child. :)

More problem with First Male child....if some one's first child is male why he should suffer ....don't know who make these stupid rules

All those feminists out there !!! give preference to girl child

I also accept the logic of giving preference to Girl child, but the criteria for selecting candidate for draw at SVIS is illogical and ambiguous. We are not discussing any Feminist theory here.

Crazy it is, the criteria is foolish. We will have nothing left after the draw for male general category children. :-(

I feel education to the girl child is important and should be promoted.....but may be by reducing their fees....in order to create the budding environment for girls, we should not be partial with boys.... Instead of bridging the gap, i hope we wont create a wider one..... It will only create resentment....

We should focus on equality......And am all for feminity.....
