Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

ITL have given direct admission to sibling categories. I have list.
This all draw system is so annoying that we are not even getting a fair chance of being considered in "draw list".
Even after having most of the top schools within 6 km range, our name has no where been selected in draw list. DPS, st. Thomas, ITL, Mount Carmel, Bal bharti, are full.
Chances of getting selected are only when u r residing nearest to the school with sibling already studying there.
Losing hope now for my kid to get selected in best school. We may have to adjust with below average school.

Ideally draw should be done considering all the applicants who have applied.
Admission in Delhi is complete mess.

Completely agree.. lots of us in the same boat... What is the way out?
Hi shikha/Charu

I agree...Me too stay in sector 7 with most schools in 3 km...Still no success..Applied in over 14 schools...Will start approaching for Mgmt seat...That's what schools wanted...Create an artificial shortage of seats..3000+ application for near 100 seats....Is it a joke.....

Get ready with bag full of money....

Hi Jatin,

we live in sector 10, the aerial distance is memntioned below and still did not got selected for even draw list.

DPS--1.87km

Bal Bharati-- 2.1km

St. Thomas----2.87km

ITL----3.4km

Presidium---4.5km

Mount Carmel---2.9km

DAV-----1.03km

Basava---4.2km

Dont expect anything from this system. Either you will be one of the lucky one or the other one.

I congratulate to all who got sucessfull this year.

Dear All

Waiting for second list n then if not selected ,don't carry on with play school

Go for any composite school n if required change in future

yeah, agree

Hi Sakshi...
Is there a reason for not continuing in play school...My kid is going in Rishikul..It is up-to-date 1st...And I am completely happy with his progress...

Would it be easy/less competitive for admission in further classes..Is it subject to interview..Mgmt seat etc..

nothing can be done. just be a victim of this useless neighbour hood criteria.

its really annoying and so depressing................some students are getting chance in many school...and some r not getting chance for a single one.....dnt know what to do???

Shall we all send mail, letters, complaints to high court and supreme court. Maybe court takes notice of our plight and help us get a fair chance?

I think schools are creating artificial shortage of seats and afterwards they will give seat by taking money. This seems to be a corruption in education system.
I want to give one example:
For example a school has 100 seats, 50 seats list is out for sibling and very near residence, but many of these 50 will definitely have chance in other vicinity school and finally only 40 are taking admission. Then school will give 10 seats with money.
I think we should file PIL in Delhi High Court, but unfortunately I am professional Engineer having very busy schedule so feeling uncomfortable to indulge in court mesh.

Yes you are absolutely right aditya Kumar.
One more example would be , that how many applicants would fall in EWS category?.
Every school has 25% reserved for them.
Do you actually think Dwarka resident would have income of less than 1.3 lakh?
May be 5% but not more than that.
Where these seats would then be allocated?
If govt actually want to offer good education then make it compulsory to maximum10% , which would be then justifiable.
So that school cannot then use these for management quote later on.
I wish good education for every kid, but atleast give option to all kid to be included in draw list. Leave rest up to luck of kid. But just snatching the right on neighbourhood criteria and sibling criteria is just not fair to first born general applicant.
