@Sakshi what if i could not attend the Draw

Dear Sakshi,

My kid was eligible for the draw in few of schools, where the draw has happened today n yesterday (3rd & 4th) but because of his annual function day of pre-nursery i couldnt attend the same. Pls advise what to do now ? Does it makes any difference if i was physically presented in the draw or not. Will the school contact me incase if my child is selected or what is the process ? also what is difference between DOL & First/Second List.

Sincerely appreciate an explanation, hope u understand the concern.

Madhu..there is absolutely no need to worry. Your absence does not put your son's selection in any danger.
DOL means date of lottery. In case your son's name would have been picked up then it will be displayed in the 1st List- which is list of children selected for admission.

ya same case with me, you must be in bal bharati school function. me too chose to see my daughter perform rather than running madly after schools.. no proobs in dps too. they had fair draw..irrespectie whjether u were there or not

It is not mandatory as per DOE (except Minority schools as they have autonomy)

Did any school you missed ask parents presence to be  mandatory ?

I don't know, hav not got any intimation, this was for itl, maxfort, nk Bagrodia public n global both, St Thomas, bgs intl, maxfort all in dwarka
