Why not the Govt itself make a committee to accept the common form for all schools and accept the forms centrally as is done in case of college admissions

Dear. Mr. Vohra

 

i get to know that various school in Rohini are forcing the parents to purchase the prospectus. Ryan international is charging Rs 100, Venkatesawra Global is charging Rs 400. This is really bad and violation of guidelines of Delhi Govt. Please do something in this regard. I think govt should direct the Delhi police to force the school adhere with the guidelines.

I called the education department for violation of there guidelines. they said that i can fax my written complaint at number 23387771. The action must be taken against those schools. Please can you guide me is this true.

Arvind Gupta DAV Public School, Model Town is charging Rs 150/-

Mahavir Senior Model school is charging Rs 100/- for form & prospectus & Rs 25/- additional as registration charges at the time of submission of form.

Maharaja Agrasen Publick School, Ashok Vihar is asking for eduction qualification proof of both parents. School was not accepting the form with educational proof. When we forced to accept it than they said, please come on 11/01/2011 at 10:30 am with all the proof in original.

Tyagi Public School, Keshav Puram, is not selling any form instead they are charging Rs 50/- for registration and the admission would be done on child screening test. They are asking for Rs 25000/- (approx) initially for addmission.

Monfort School, Ashok Vihar is not giving form to those parents who are not come in radius of 4 K.M. also the school doesn't have any  transport facility. Point system are also worst. 45 points to christian religion.

DAV public School, Ashok vihar is asking to mentioned parents education qualification proof along with their income details and to attach the proof as well.

 

All the above named school are asking to mentioned parents education qualification & gross annual income & monthly income. It is necessary to attact parents education qualification proof & income detail along with proof of their designation.

Apeejay school pitam pura has started an innovative way of collecting money by taking 400 rs. as processing fees when parents ask for the form. And additionally, no prospectus is given (may be costing around 50)

So a clear profit of rs. 450 from every parent.

 

Can these type of schools really be booked for this behaviour???????

My all praise to Mr Vohra, who has voiced the parents feelings at appropriate forums. We are living in a rotten society. We can't expect to change the scenario overnight. Chinmaya Mission School, Vasant Vihar, Suraj Bhan DAV, Vasant Vihar charging Rs. 200/- and Tagore International, Vasant Vihar- Rs. 100/- for forms+ prospectus(compulsory). Some school gives points on irrational and illogical grounds. My child get only 20 points for neibourhood, wherever I apply, because I donot qualify on the school's parameter for promoting diverse cultural ethos and etc, etc.Parents are crying and schools are smiling, Govt is sleeping. Where is RTE? One school has asked parents in it's registratin form, how they can be of school's help. My suggestion is that on the ground of violating Govt's instruction, just deregister one school and all schools will fall in line. Regards.

Apeejay Sheikh Sarai is leading all schools in fleecing parents. At least other schools who are charging Rs. 400/- to 500/- are giving an expensive prospectus which gives an overview of the school. They are charging Rs.400 just to issue a number to download the form from website which also means that parents have to go twice to the school to collect the number & then to submit the form which is absurd. Some action needs to be taken against this school.
