Hello Mr Vohra,

I would like to highlight a few critical discriminatory issues with the points system at some of the most reputed and sought after schools of Delhi.

1) DPS Vasant Vihar - They have Alumni and Siblings as the major points beyond which they are using residential area ( not really distance but areas you are living in should be south Delhi).We live in west Delhi and are equally placed from a residential stand point between DPS Vasant Vihar and DPS Rohini about 15 kms.Additionally DPS Vasant Vihar is closer for both me and my husband form office and also we are very keen to send our child to DPS R K Puram eventually for which nursery schools have to be either DPS vasant Vihar or DPS East of Kailash.

However the schools are not using distance but Residential area( only south Delhi) as a criteria to provide points.

This is extremely disheartening to a parent like me who has received my education from esteemed higher education institues in India.

 

2) Spring Dales Dhaula Kuan - Again the school is using Alumni and siblings maximum weightage, no points for first born which is an issue since this is my first child.Additionally they have also defined a bus route system which covers only certain areas in 10 kms raidius and ignores the others.Just because we live in West Delhi does not mean my child does not have the right to receive admission to a reputed school in central delhi (Benito Juarez marg) rigth next to Dhaula Kuan.

 

Appreciate your help to bring these to the school authorities notice.

Sir you done a great job. Government should have understood how powerful you are and you are helping to rectify the loopholes made by them. Hope to see you as a Education Minister one day!

there should a  date for 1st and 2nd list.

 there should a strict rule of nominal deduction of money in case of withdrawal before 31.3.2011.

Add one more point "WEATHER". Last three days the monring Temp is aroung 4.0C. And most of school have time only 9:00-11:00AM. Many school are not ready to give/take the form after 11:30.

I saw many parents came into early in the morning for queueing.... And End of time they are not happy becuase of time constraint. And next they some are not well.. GOVT of DElhi need to think on this.

If any parents feel "this is a valid point then give your hand to Mr. Vohra.

Mr. Vohra( thanks fro your support) If you feel this is aloas a valid point then

please look into this point also.
