Dear. Mr. Vohra,

Please resolve the sibling issue, its a menace for parents with first child. Some schools are giving points for siblings and girl child again. this is disadvantageus and DPS Dwarka is still screening parents according to their profession.

please do something Sir.

Regards

Is the points being given justified. 20 by most schools.

Even though it does not apply to me but I agree Sibling is not a menace..............it probably could be for ppl with only one child.
but atleat Alumni points issue to be resolve, it should not be there. It is direct profiling of parents
is it a crime to have only one child

Dear Mr. Vohra,

I would request you to kindly see if you can voice the sibling issue, parent profiling as well as nursery forms not available online, its such a pain from past two days I am standing in bluebells long queue, still I have not received my formamazing its an international school how come they dont have online form.

first we have to stand in line to get the form and them it will be the deposite line.

would requesdt you to voice thi8s concern.

Never think of  yourself. Sibling point is a essential one and this rule is followed even 50 years ago. It has decreased the burden of many parents and gives a feeling of security.

I have one boy child. Never Questioned sibling point but alumni points are totally against govt guidelines and scope for first born boy child admission reduced to nil

1. As per this year's RTE guidelines, schools have to refund entire amount deposited and maximum they can deduct is Rs 200 but no school is maintaining this rule, yesterday i gone to S S Mota Singh school, janak puri and its clearly mentioned on their notice board that only security amount (500/-) will be refunded if any parents wish to withdraw name of their ward after submitting fees. all remaining amount will be forfeited by school. this is clear violation of govt rules.

2. the receptionist also told me that when i will submit the form, i will be given a date where principal will meet me, my wife and my kid and she will decide their itself if my child will be admitted or not and if she says yes then i will have to deposit entire fee along with other charges like annual charges, maintainence charges and all others within same day if i want to admit my child to that school.

3. N K Bagrodia school, Dwarka is also asking for fees within 2 days and in similar manner, will refund only 500/- if any parent decide to withdraw their admission.

WHERE IS Mr. LOVELY NOW? HE USED TO ASSURE ALL DELHI PARENTS ON ALL NEWS CHANNELS WHEN THE TOPIC WAS HOT AND NOW HE IS NOT KEEPING HIS WORDS AND LEFT ALL DELHI PARENTS ON THE MERCY OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS LOBBY. NO MINISTER CAN BE TRUSTED WHEN PRIVATE LOBBY IS INVOLVED IN THE GAME. BECAUSE ITS A BIG GAME AND CRORES OF RUPEES ARE COLLECTED EACH YEAR BY THESE SCHOOLS AND OBVIOUSLY IT WILL HAMPER THEIR INCOMES IF RULES ARE IMPLEMENTED RIGHT WAY.

Yes I agree proper refund policy is to be enforced by the government

Schools cannot keep the money of parents like this

I have been standing in queues for past 2 days to collect school forms & lot of schools are selling forms for 25 without prospectus & for Rs.500 if you want the prospectus & they are making parents write in a register which only raises the concern that all Rs 25. applicants might get discarded automatically as it is sort of a reflection on parents purchasing power.

However, the refund of fees should be taken up very seriously by the Govt & Admission Nursery Team in case the ward is withdrawn from a school after paying the fees as there is no chance that the seat would remain vacant. Hence, parents should not be fleeced for preferring a school of their choice.

What will be the procedure of selection when schools have will have a tie for most of their seats? With the given crieteria, there are bound to be ties in the end.
