This was expected. Nothing to be surprised about. Another issue to be notified to DOE. I wonder how many more issues we'll have to apprise DOE of?

How many issues we will notify to DOE. Lovely is of no use. Vishal Bharti Paschim Vihar has a coloum for paternts annual income and they take an undertaking in their form that parents are in a position to pay fees. I will attach a scanned copy of the form at the earliest.

Lovely is no longer lovely. Today I visited ASTER PUBLIC SCHOOL in Mayur Vihar. They have made the buying of the 200 rupee prospectus mandatory, but when I told the lady at the counter that this is violation of the RTE guidelines, she got afraid and sold only the registration form to me of Rs 25. One thing more, their forms contain the ANNUAL INCOME field. This is blatant violation of the guidelines. Obviously, I won't be surprised if they openly start asking for donations from the parents.

Today, I went to vikas bharti school, rohini and asked for form. They asked me to pay 200 Rs. for prospectus. When I said that I need admission form only then receptionist told me "Agar hamare school mein admission lena hai to prospetus lena padega.." Same case in Maxfort and GD Goenka Rohini where i paid Rs. 300 each.
Ryan Mont. School in Rohini are giving forms in Rs. 25 but don't know if they are marking some special mark for this case.. Also, in VGS, Rohini the form+prospectus cost is Rs. 500 and everyone was paying that amount. When I asked them to give only form then they gave me in Rs. 50. After that, everyone in the queue took the forms in Rs. 50 only.. There should be a centralised form which should apply in every school.

Yes, yesterday I have brought a admission form paying 225/ from St.Francis peter school jankpuri. School representative told us they will not give form without propectus.

Daily we are facing more issues. Atlast I feel we have to make another new body Nursery School Selection Board and they should deal with admission process. Or else the situation will still become more worse in future.

That is a plausible solution if such body is recognized and granted authority by DOE.

I am sick and tired of listening to these everyday punchlines of misdeeds by so many schools. And like fools, these big bulls (politicos) are sitting and watching heplessly all kinds of issues proping up. I am really surprised when people say 'India Shining'...Well, I wonder what is it shining about...

Only ministers like Mr Lovely and private school owners are shining brightly. It has always been dark ages for us all.

To deposit a form at the school is such an ordeal. To begin with some schools are not accepting forms before Monday, Jan 10th. Some are only starting at 10 am. For working parents how is it possible to take a day off for this and that too in the starting of the week ,. This is a torchure for parents.
