WE ARE NOT ABLE TO COMPREHEND THE NEWS .. ARE THEY CALLING NURSERY AS

PRE NURSERY AND KG AS NURSERY

This is CRAZY!! What are we parents suposed 2 do? Just wait n watch helplessly?? My son's 4+...i have already submitted the forms...the last date is 15th and we still don't know if he is now eligible for Nursery or Kg? Was the Government sleeping till now?? Are we mad to just keep waiting for the guidelines to change every second day??    

   Also,the confusion is not only about the age,bt about the class too. What does the Govt. mean by Pre-School & Nursery? According to schools, Pre-school IS Nursery!! We should be asking what is the age for Class 1,n then i think it will be sorted. There is no communication between the Govt. and the Schools,so the parents suffer.

i would request all of you to watchDelhi Aajtak at 2.30pm as you might get some clarification also we would request to all the parents to keep serching other channels like zee news etc to get more clarification and keep posted on this thread.

We parents this year facing all problems on name of new criterion being decided for nursery admission. there is lot of confusion because of this. A new change leaves it marks.so govt.should allow flexibilty let parent decide to admit a child in pre nursery or nursery. It should be open for students to take admission next year so every school wil
have to keep admission open for both classes atleast for next consecutive two years

OMG!! is this for which we burned thousands of rupees buying forms, hoping in and out of autorickshaws, tolerating the winters and compromising important office time......

NO PROMOTION TO KG BY DEFAULT means what.... i might have stuck to the play schools child is going to (most play schools have a nursery too) Am i taking so muich head ache and paying such hefty fees for just 1 year. What rubbish and what nonsense. This news has moved ground from beneath my feet.... iam not even able to expess myself properly......

Hi nazneen, this could only mean one of two things: 

1) The school can have more fun in the name of donations next year as well. They can fix all kinds of arbitrary charges this year and if you object, you are obviously out the next year

2) The school will allocate points for children so that children who've already studied with them "naturally" become their alumni. However, there will be a "Management quota" at the discretion of the school. Good luck to all parents .. I think its about time we all filed a PIL

you land up admitting ur kid in an undesired school.

What I heard from TV at 2 PM is " The minimum age for Admission to Nursery is 4 Years and for Pre Nursery there is no age restrictions. If your child is admitted to Pre Nursery by a school, admission in nursery next year will be full admission process repeated. What I am not sure is what does court mean by Nursery, is it Nursery or KG?

The court simply means pay in nursery this year and pay for kg also next year.

 

This is crazy?? why should we pay twice for nursery and kg.

 

think of people who will be in playschool they pay thrice for pre-school, nursery, kg??

Is this mean that 3 years+ is the age for prenursery (which we now call nursery) and 4 year+ will be the age for Nursery (which we now call kg or pre-primary). so the case is same as it is now.

only difference will be 3+ kids that is prenursery kids wont get promoted to nursery (which is now kg) before 1st.

Please clarify if my assumption is right!
