WE PAY TWICE WHY WERE WE NOT INFORMED BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF ADMISSION PROCESS
LOT OF PARENTS WOULD HAVE OPTED FOR PLAY SCHOOL ALSO SAVED LOTS OF MONEY AND HARRASEMENT
NURSERY AGE 3+| Admission in preschool will not automatically grant eligiblity to continue in preprimary
pre-school classes will not be part of the main school, nor shall these be treated as (a) feeder school for the pre-pri mary classes of the school. Children in pre-school should be from the immediate neighbourhood. There should be no school bag for carrying any pre scribed books for all such preschool classes," the High Court had noted then, taking on record the government's stand.
Govt mean that children admitted in nursery (age 3+) will have to be re-admitted in KG (age 4+) following the same admission process
we were kept in dark and made fool by Govt and schools
Do we have to go through the same grind again next year and wastage of lacs of money and resources
dont we have anyother work except nursery admissions

I am presently not residing in India but I can compeletly feel the pain of the parents and the negligence of the govt . For the whole year they have been sleeping and now have suddenly woken up and have created utter confusion .
I think , its time to think that if this Govt cannot put a fair system in work for the basic need like Educaion ,do they really have the capibility to run this country. ALSO WHAT ARE WE PAYING TAXES FOR..........
There should be a written statement from school assuring that the admn fees wont be charged again from the same parents in KG (at 4+)
OR....
The admn fees(lump sum-40-50k) should be taken at KG(4+) admn time only.Nursery students should be charged only monthly fees
Dear Sakshi,
I saw the contents of Affidavit. It appears to me that what it wants to say is that in case parents want to change their child's school after Pre-school, their child will have to be 4+ years of age as on Mar 31, 2012, or later. It does not mean that pre-school students do not get promoted to pre-primary.
Thanks, Darpan
Thanks Darpan.
I just called up ApeeJay and they mentioned that there is no info/instruction on re-admission to KG for the current batch of nursery students.
I hope it stays like this.

Why is Govt. assisting schools in this money money making racket.... is this another scam we are moving towards...
you are right Tabish.
May be, we can't rule out any such possibility.
In India, scam-makers know, how to make money through scam in any field
Guys ... cool down, think objectively!
When these schools don't give you the receipt of submitted forms - what is the expectation from them to follow a genuine point system. Schools will simply ignore the forms that they are not interested into admitting, parents have no mean to prove they had even submitted the forms!!
Do you expect such money-printing machines with brand name 'schools' or 'international schools' will be interested in a fair process? -- Never!
But will parents need to spend two times for such admissions -- I guess NO.
Why - because there are two part of the judgement:
1. Pre-nursery children must be from immediate neighbourhood.
2. There is no automatic upgradation to next class.
If schools follow 1, and not follow 2: Worst situation for them ... will NEVER happen. School will never follow.
If schools follow 1, and follow 2 - otherwise their intake of children becomes restrictive to nearby location only. -- Which schools will NEVER AGREE. So this is possible case, however in this case no-one will pay for huge amounts to these schools for pre-nursery stage next year onward. School is not a gainer.
If Schools does not follow 1 and follow 2, then parents will in general NOT pay for the 'one time big component of fee' at pre-nursery stage and will rather prefer neighbourbood play schools instead -- School is not a gainer.
If schools does not follow 1 and also does not follow 2, then the situation is like it is existing today - NO change. They will encash the seat at 1st time with an understanding for auto movement. Now, there might be comparatively smaller component will be introduced to by-pass this automatically movement criteria. Most preferable situation for schools!
Please note: when I say 'follow', I meant ' in true letter of sprit' -- officially schools will always mention they follow both criterias as they really don't have options.
I agree this year, parents are prone to fleecing -- but not next year onward unless govt changes again.
When we pay this year, we should look for school's commitment to either of these four options.
