Hi Sakshi,

I believe filing a court case or writing individual letters as suggested by few fellow parents might take a longer time and by then all will be over.Let's not wait a day beyond Jan 15, infact I'd say earlier if possible.

Our precious money, time and effort will go completely waste if nothing satisfactory is arrived at within the next couple of days. So, as most of us agree, media articles+dharna should work as an immediate step. Do let us know on the date and time. I'm sure Mr.Vohra already has great media contacts but if any further help is required to call media to cover the dharna, do let me know as I can try getting some media people.

This issue is affecting the emotional state of mind of each and every parent. No wonder I'm writing this at 3am in the morning!!!

sakshi, so are we 100% sure now that nursery kids will be promoted to kg in the same school and that we would not have to go through the same admission procedure next year and waste our time, efforts and money?

Please confirm.

It was running the whole night we recorded it late  see this news by navbharat times where the parent community of an.com and Mr vohra has pressuried Mr lovely to change his stance

I now have a specific query on Vasant Valley verification, but for some reason I am unable to start a new discussion. I remember a lady mentioning on the website that she's been called on 12/13. Since I have been called on 14, can you help start a new discussion or trace that comment from the various discussion threads?

My queries-

-Do both the parents need to go?

-Is the child also required to be there?

-What transpired during verification?

-What is the fee structure like?

YES BOTH PARENTS NO CHILD GENUINE DOCUMENT CROSSCHECKING

TO CHECK THE AUTHENTICITY ..NO INTERVIEW

FEE MIGHT CHANGE U ASK FROM SCHOOL

hi sakshi

since i am separated from my husband for the past two years (divorce papers will be filed very soon), it is primarily only me who's driving nursery admissions for my son. therefore, i hope it wouldn't be a problem if only i go? do i need to call and confirm this with vasant valley? moreover, i mentioned my case in their compassionate grounds section.

P.S. Also, their website does not mention that both the parents need to come.

what would you advise here?

YES shreya dont worry at all  you can go alone andin vasant valley there are lot of single parents

all the best and happy lohri

p.s -but u must carry all the documents u have mentioned

It is like another source of making big money for the schools, and putting parents into a big trouble.

Now also schools are not following DoE directions, and charging as high as Rs. 500 for the prospectus forcefully/alloting registration number. Some of the schools have also called us up and demanding cash to confirm admission of a child. If this continues next year as well, then what is the point we are wasting so much of time for this process, as most of the play schools also have "Nursery" with them. We can always continue with the present play school and spend our time and money only once.

Do not know really what is the Vision of our Govt.----"Education For All under RTE Act" or "More Money for Schools" or "Harassment of Parents". The admission procedure of a 3 year old child in Nursery is even more difficult than admission in reputed professional institutes.

let me tell you something about the ope loot and arrogance of the schools. two schools forced me to purchase the prospectus.one is the srijan school, north model town and the arvind Gupta D.A.V. centenary public school, model town.
