I have the same problem...my son is 2.5 but can only speak few words and not in sentences....has very limited vocabulary. He was asked to recite a poem in Apeejay to which I had to explain that he would not be able to do so. I am yet to receive result of first round there. 

I have got call for Amity second round. Should I take the kid along with me for the interaction? 

What is the general attitude of schools towards such children? Are they summarily rejected or given a chance?

Yes they do interact with child , rest its your call

Have they insisted to bring the child ?

Better double chk with school on phone  n if not mandatory then avoid

Noida has very few schools ( Might be Shiv Nadar /SBS with spl educators but admission very tough)

Hi Sakshi

Do kids with speech delay really need special educators? Kids who are eligible for 2018-19 but are delayed in terms of speech have 9 more months to make up for the delay (as the session will start in Apr 2018). I am curious because it sounds familiar. We had similar experience in Apeejay and know for sure that DPS and Amity interactions won't be different either. Now in case the schools go on and admit the kids despite speech delay, I am wondering if there is any cause of concern on parents part to go ahead with admission. It will be interesting to know perspective of other parents too on this topic.

If its in normal course as per their peer group then not required but if advised by Doctor specifically then requires spl attention and spl educators.

Do schools admit kids directly in lower kg in Delhi and Noida 4 year old child.
I think they do admit. Is admission really tough in kg .
Because he will be 4+ in March 2019, we are thinking of admitting him in nursery/kg in 2019-2020 session. Pls suggest.
