SARKAR KA SARA JOR EWS PAR HI HAI. GEN CATEGORY WALE KAHAN JAAYENGE PAATA NAHI. YE GUNAH HAI KE HUM EWS MAIN NAHI AATE HAIN.

  this is my first male child.in all schools i have 30-40 points.is it a crime to be married happily and have a normal child.where will the general category people go???

Does government realize this problem????

I agree with u hema...it is a crime to have a normal child who is MALE and the parents dont fall in EWS category

what i think is govt dont want to take any action . because if they take any action then some people will be happy and some unhappy. so they want things to remain as it is and they know peoples memory is very short. and its true also .. next year most of us will not interested in nursery admission.

Second there school lobby is there and these are the people who give money to politicians to fight election. we comman man can give them nothing just one vote .. and they know they can buy many more votes with money which powerful people can give them...

So "Aam admi" has no value in democracy like india.. only super rich or super poor are taken care of by these politicians...

DPS Dwarka has shown that it is impossible for a normal peson to get admission in these schools. There are 1100 candidates with 30 points and 1500 candidates with 25 points. Where will these people go? The schools are following are point systems in which Alumni gets favoured. Isn't this an indirect way of considering the education of the people. Now only DPS alumni can get admission in these schools and no-one else.

Consider 2500 people applying for normal category and other schools will also have the seats for siblings etc which reduces the chance of these people to get a decent school for their wards.

This is frustrating. So for generations, you wont be able to get into DPS with the current system.

Everything is messed up. After seeing the results of two DPS schools, we can totally assume that we (people from general category) will not get any seat in any of the good schools in Delhi. Alumni and siblings who were able to get into the top schools will keep on enjoying their points for lifetime.

 

Now the time has come when people from general category should unite together and take some stern action against this issue, wipe out our tears full of blood, hit the iron which is hot right now, to be able to get some consideration in rest of the schools who are going to come out with admission results or else we and our young fellow delhites will keep on facing the same problem year by year begging in front of top schools to take our wards and provide them quality education.

well said rajinder,...mr. vohra and an.com has been raising this issue through media in a big way but the schools are doing as per their whims and fancy only...it is really painful for general category parents seeking not coming in sibling/alumni band to run here and there in needc of a good quality schools...schools claim that it is their duty to protect interest of parents having kids already in schools (sibling) and those who want to pursue their kids' eduaction in their alma mater only....to some extent this is ok...but schools can not shy away from their duty of providing education opportunity to a alrger and varied mix of students coming from a broad spectrum of society...in Delhi we all educated middle class want to admit our kids in these few 50-60 numbers of well known schools (out of 1200 plus recognised pvt. schools) and thus increase their overall ratings....in turn these chosen few schools take advantage of this and come out with skewed criteria to favour certain sections as per their choice to filter out the best amongst the equals...we tend to fell prey to their tactics even after knowing....and end up paying very high fees if get selected or if not then lose some good quality smaller schools too in the vicinity....so i think quality education is available in too many schools in our neighbourhood and we must file for maximum nos. of schools to better our chances of selection and not run after a few of these so called elite brands...
