Still this child have name in general category list and points are 40.

But if u check in point its 30

This is really shocking how schools are manipulating list...

Sakshi How can we raise voice against such manipulations by school.

Points given to child are 30 but child name is n the list with points mentioned as 40.

Dear Shalu,

The only way to raise voice against DPS is a case in court as they are grossly violating their ruling as well as doe guidelines. The other thing which we can do is get in touch with Mr. Ashok Agarwal of Social jurist (an NGO which has done a lot for betterment of nursery admissions).

DPS has no fear at all to any one. You might be knowing that Mr. Salman Khurshid (union minister) was a governing body member since 1984, but was expelled when he raised voice against commercialization activity by DPS. I have raised a complaint against this in DOE website and I have got this reply complaint number 201100293

How will you make sure that list is

Hi Sakshi,

I dont think this is one of case. Nor I have any thing personal issue with this child or her faimly. i dont know them.

After seeing the list i was wondering how so many general canditates can get 40 points. So i tried to see points for those in list on DPS website but for that you also need Date of Birth of the child. And by luck I got DOB of this child from intenet

i think DPS have manipulated other list also . But to be sure some one has to check there database. for that I have raised the complaint 201100293 and 201100298. If we could check points of others in the list I hope most of them have got 30 points, But to proof that we need to check there records.

Wishing best of luck to all those who've been picked for this "Lucky Draw". Don't want to be sour grapes .. I'd already given up hope for DPS Rohini. At least if some General candidates get in it should mean something!! Better than giving up all seats to alumni and siblings like the other DPSes ... congrats to all those who've been shortlisted

Could be Management quota at their discretion .. but as I've already said, I would be really happy if at least SOME of the General candidates get through. Good for them and good for us "General" people as we can try out in whatever other schools remain. At least some non-alumni/non-sibling people are benefiting!

I agree with Ashish.. and I am also thinking the same.. most of the people will fall in this category (30 points) which is actually a pure General Category.. Don't know how are they calculating 40 points? they should provide the full points chart for selected students..
