Is aadhar card mandatory for admission

If child is only having Aadhar enrollment slip , will it work or Aadhar card is compulsory.

It's School specific. Better confirm with school.

Some schools are asking for it, some are not asking. Some schools are even asking for Aadhar card of both parents

For child most of the schools have made it mandatory. But Aadhar card of father or mother can work.

Check with school. Affidavit may help if applied for Aadhar

Hi I'm concerned about the Aadhar Card of the child requirement by some of the schools. There is no consistency in the demand made by some schools vs others. Some are calling it mandatory because they want to upload it some Delhi govt. website later on while others are keeping it optional. My question is can we be sure that the schools that are keeping it optional will not reject the candidates on not providing Aadhar No.?
