Information required on nursery admission

Hi myself Gaurav. My question is whether a child may apply for general as well as ews category both in nursery admission, if he is coming under ews category and if yes, then whether a school can cancel the addmission of that child on that ground or not.
Actually a known to me wants to know that as he is coming under ews category..I have seen FAQ on DOE site, they are telling, yes can also apply but little confusion is that whether the child can apply also in General category or can apply in both category.
Please reply as soon as possible.

Yes you can apply in both Gen /EWS

If selected in same school under both categories than school might put your case in scrutiny.
