My son was selected in APJ Pitampura on basis of Alumni points and first child points. However the result has been withheld as per DOE directions. Please guide should I wait for APJ Pitampura or secure a seat in some other school. Rest all schools he has been selected shall not entertain us after 21st Feb.

Block the seat in atleast 1 school...!! You can always apply for refund Later on...!!

This is the latest Update I have

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Apeejay School in Pitampura announced that the admission process for pre-school is withheld for the time being as per an order from the Directorate of Education (DoE).

This comes days after a complaint filed by Sumit Vohra, education activist and founder of admissionsnursery.com. He highlighted the issue that the school is giving 15 points to candidates whose parents or grandparents are members or office bearers of the school managing committee. Giving points to children with grandparents, who are office bearers of the school managing committee, is against the high court orders. The school was flouting guidelines and the DoE has taken action,” said Mr Vohra.

PS: This proves this forum has more power than DOE.

Have spoken with APJ pitampura and North West Zone DOE both. DOE officer said APJ pitampura was supposed to revert on Saturday. However they haven't done the same yet. APJ Pitampura is saying they are in regular touch.
