Schools have left out these details. I probably should have asked. I now regret not doing this. Always thought it will have to be in last 1 year.

However, I am surprised to see my child's name in the category of Pre - Primary (4+), whereas I had applied for 3+. The irony is that her DOB is also mentioned as not qualifying for 4+ as on 31st March, 2011. To my surprise, there are many others appearing whose DOB is much after my child, and still their names appear in the 4+ category.

On contacting the school, they were not even aware of the list declared. When I told that the list is available on their website, they told me that I would have mentioned myself as 4+ in the form. Like to state that when the form was sold to me, they themselves mentioned 3+ on it.
