Hi Sakshi,

I did not attend draw as my daughters name was there in the first list.

At the moment they have asked for two demand draft Rs57000/- towards orientation programme and Rs700/- towards admission fee and caution money.

@Rohit: Dear friend don't lose heart. I don't know much about Ramjas school but it must be a decent one.
I don't understand why parents on this forum, even after securing admissions in decent schools, whine about not making to a few top schools. Why can't we accept that Delhi is an overpopulated region with no proper masterplan. Even the existing resources are being overburdened by unchecked migration from neighbouring states. The so called 'top schools' are limited in number and have finite seats. Haven't you seen that for some schools with 100 seats there were close to 6-7 thousand applicants. How can everyone be admitted in those select few schools? Furthermore fake income certificates have taken away a substantial chunk of seats from open category (if you understand what i mean). Few prestigious schools like DPS RKP increased their seats to accommodate more, but now they suffer from a poor teacher-student ratio with no individual attention to students possible.

So the bottom line is that feeling frustrated about not making to top schools is of no use. We should all address the other core issues in whatever way possible.
