Admission under DG category

Hi Sakshi,

A BIG Thanks to you, Gaurav, Pankaj and Sumit Vohra sir, for the guidance and selfless help.

My kid got selected for Salwan Public, Rajinder Nagar, Under DG category - SCHOOL ID 2128135

My query is while registration I opted for Salwan as first preference and it has 2 shifts (morning/afternoon). How do I confirm which shift my kid got admission. Because at registration time, there was no option of salwan morning or salwan afternoon.

Need your guidance and help on this, so that school cannot fool me.

What ever the annual fees mwntione above should be charged once as it is annual but school charging same amount for 4 quater.

Is that same case in salwaan public school

Hello ,

This Annual charges of 14141 rs, they charge on a quarterly basis. Means in Total it is 14141*4 = 56564 rs.

Hi Moderators,

If a DG category parent who is exempted of school fees, still wants to pay the fees.

What are the options ? sounds weird

But it was brought into constitution for upliftment and my view is "Exemption should be left at the sole discretion of the individual".

I belong to DG and registered under DG category just to get good school as I did not get any response when approached via different channels (mails/written application/visits/MQ)

Though i am going to take admission but going forward how to deal so that I do not want to avail this exemption.

If you give written application to schools, i hope should not be a problem.

Rest just confirm from school whether you need to inform DOE or not.

As this is Exceptional case :)

Is there any racism in schools between EWS DG and gen category students.

Not heard in any Established school by teachers, but yes some exceptions are always there.

Amit: If we talk about school like Salwan.... They are on top of rankings for not discriminating b/w different categories.

Its like if there would have been a Fair Play Award in School...Salwan would among the top 3. Its one of my personal favorite school....Only thing I don't like in it is its Fees..!!
