Most of the schools don't accept Children's B.C without name printed on it,you can get it done by submitting original with simple formalities from issuing authority and apply for min 4 to 5 copies as they issue at very nominal cost and you will require more than one B.C for sure.

Process for inclusion of child's name

Visit the MCD office where the birth certificate was issued.  And give application in person for inclusion of name. You will have to prepare an Affidavit  stating that you intend to get the name of your child included in MCD Birth Certificate. Also provide the details of the current MCD certificate (Reference number) and your/ spouse's name and child's name. This along with an application will have to be handed over at the same MCD office from where the current certificate was issued. You will get the new certificate with child's name printed.
