New Delhi: The directorate of education (DoE) has asked private unaided schools to refund the fees to parents in case they withdraw their child within one month of admission. A circular issued to schools on Friday said schools could only retain the admission fee and the tuition fee of a month while returning the rest. TNN

Directorate of Education has told schools to refund extra amount it has taken for admssion forms. I have raised so many Complaints in reply to which DOE said Directed School to refund money. In case of ApeeJay School it said it has directed school to refund money at parent adress at there addreess as per there data. But nothing hapens. Question is DOes School care about DOE . Or throw there Directives to Dustbin. With Such Corrupt Politicians at the helm nothing can happen.

90 % of REPUTED schools do follow refund policy ,i agree exceptions are always there

I agree with that some school follow rules. But tell me a single instance where DOE has taken action against School violating guidelines. Modern School Has not declared its points system for 3 years in a row despite DOE Guidelines. Has DOE done any thing ? Do they have courage to act against a any body. Going By this even schools who follow rules will start breaking them in years to come.nNow some body has files PIL against Modern School.

Why this ministry is failing to take actions against so many irregularities going on opening in front of the whole world...?? Does any one has an idea on why the GOVT. SYSTEM is unable to take actions?? What is the actual reason for inaction? Are they afraid of the school bosses/lobby? If yes, what is the fear about?? They don't fear a true citizen, but the school owners who has been faulting on every step?? Shame on them on being an INDIAN......

For refund of fee, one should submit an application with photocopies of fee receipt and the circular issued by the DoE on Friday, 11 Feb 2011. The mode of payment generally will be a DD/cheque. Hope for the best to everyone concerned.

play way nusery school of manav sthali and vivek samit is taking 45000.00 donation for admistion which non refundable.

the do not follow any refund policy

DOE officials always set those rules which are in favor of the schools. The minister of education, delhi is a non performer at almost all fronts. He is a mere spectator to all what the big fishes of the education business are doing. Most of the ministers & MLA's of the Delhi govt. have their own schools or have some share or understanding in schools. How can we expect action from such corrupt people. We need the judiciary to interfere in this matter & direct the direction less govt officials.

all these schools are run by some existing/retired officers of DOE/education ministry. it seems schools are not run in accordance of DOW but its the other way round. DOE is run by schools.
