I got a call from VVDAV School, Vikas Puri, D Block, New Delhi regarding my son's admission under management quota. They asked us to meet them today i.e. 14.2.2011 between 8 to 10 am. We went there at 8.45 AM and after kept waiting for some time were taken to Ms. Trilesh Jain, a senior teacher in the school. She asked us whether we both are working and after getting affirmative reply, asked us to write our name, address, phone nos., office no. and office address on a register. Then she said, lets come to point, we are taking money from parents like you for uplifting the school. She said "paise ko haath kyon lagana" you give sony or toshiba 42" lcd and our school will take your child. She said they do not want Samsung or any other brand. She has asked us to give TV by tomorrow positively if we want to get our child be admitted.
I contact some journalist friends also but they are not willing to take up the matter and say this is the way to get the things done. I don't know what to do now. Cann't any action be taken against such school? Please raise this issue.

This is where our India is lacking behind. Humanity is killed. Our journalists - the third strongest party in India should play its role by carrying out sting operations. Who will help me in carrying out this operation. I am not a media person. Is there any parent on the forum having good relations with media. DoE may take appropriate action against the school but on a written complaint with proper evidences.
The schools have taught us "cut your cloth according to your cloth" and they themselves are flouting this proverb.I am shocked. Shame our education system these days.
Who highlighted this in Media Mr Vohra But 90 % of Media had always supported our cause
THANKS TO NAVBHARAT TIMES FOR HELPING SHALINI RAISE HER ISSUE
Yes Monika Mr Vohra Highlighted K R Mnagalam Fraud on Your request only
lets c if DOE Takes Action against them
Dear Sakshi,
Can we check this detail on KRM fraud..Even I am very dissatisfied with this school
Hi,
I do not get surprise by the above post from Shalini, as earlier this school has forcely sold there prospectus along with the application form.
I had complaint to DOE regarding the same earlier through their website, but I am sure there will be not action against the school.
School are free to do anything they like, all thanks to DOE and Mr. Lovely.......
But the most embarassing part is that greed has overtaken over humanity in "Education" profession also.....

On a lighter note :-)
Don't be surprised if school start's asking for Mercedes car's for nursery admission after 20 yrs considering the inflation @ 6% :-)
For parents they should look for some "School Donation Loans" from banks and should have a good credit history.
Also through this forum I would request all the financial insitutes to provide the "School Donation Loans" at a resonable rates, as it will be taken for the education purpose.
I hope the concern authorities are listening........

Well done. Now it's in DOE's hand to take severe action. How can we expect if this school will mould the students into a better human being? Worst situation for parents ever. Thanks again Mr.Vohra for highlighting this issue in the daily.
DoE will say they were "unaware" of this and will "look into the matter". How does that solve the problem :)) ?? I looked up the price .. it costs some 70,000 INR .. for a 42" Sony Bravia (cheaper if sourced from Singapore) but I suppose can be had for around 60000 INR in Delhi - which anyway is close to what every school is charging! Would you be happier if the school asked you for 60,000 and gave you a receipt for it?? My question is why single out this instance .. EVERY school of repute is asking for donations with VERY few exceptions!
@Sakshi, can we have a simple Yes/No poll on whether parents gave donations to schools this year? I bet you would get a more than 90% Yes!
