I agree. There is no unity in parent community. We all are selfish.. Forget everything. If someone' child get admission in any of the school they will not even bother to visit this forum on regular basis.. There were so many parents on this forum when the first list came.. But now only few parents are visiting the forum whose child have'nt got admission in any of the school. So, we should accept the fact..

What I have analised from the results of nursery admission that no child can get the admission in any reputed school if he/she is first born, male child, having no point for sibling, having no points for alumni,  having no approach, and not offering any donation.... Full points for distance does not make any sence.. so this is INDIA.. and we easily accept it..

Do you know ? Donation seats are still available in the schools..... What an IRONY.... SO MIDDILE class GENERAL category parents do not have right to send their child in a good school..

Poor can send as they have 25% reservation.. Rich can send as they have money to pay.... BUT WE GENERAL CATEGORY MIDDLE class people don't even have right to live in INdia..  Nursery admission ke liye apply kare to... we don't have seats there... Job ke liye apply kare to.... SC/ST/any so many categories and reservations.... Even in Pvt offices if you want to work in good / reputed office, you won't find the job there as YOU SHOULD HAVE REFERENCE....... Reliance/ Ansal / DLF almost all big companies select candidates through references... SO WHERE DO WE STAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very True, so, in order to tackle this kind of situation, point system should be formalized in a way to give equal weightage to both the genders, consideration of distance would always remain an abstract category as there are not enough schools, leave aside good schools, in all areas of Delhi, however, some weightage to sibling category is acceptable, but there should strictly be no points for any Alumni. No preference to first born and there should be reasonable reservation in schools of specific sections based on religion, belief or mission.

At the same time, there should be visible efforts by the government to improve the quality of education and infrasturctural facilities in government schools. Or alternatively, some sort of Public private partnership model should be deployed for government schools in order to achieve the above target, only after assessing the long term implications of such activity.

What about "transferable jobs" category? Is there any sense in a category like this. Such a category is easily falsified. 

Sibling category should also be used uniformly. I was trying for my second child, a male. So he got no points for first child, girl child etc. But at least he should have had a guaranteed seat at the school where his elder sibling studies. But no, that school gives just 10 points for sibling, and 30 points for  a first child. So he did not get admission. Where is the logic? They seem to be intentionally keeping away siblings from their school.

How will you fight Rohan Ji.

We only say but can not take any action... Ya.. MARCH at DOE office was a little step towards our fighting but besides this we really don't have time to fight for our kids..

I am ready to go to DOE office .. I can sit there for DAYS .... to meet the Education MInister.. but nothing will happen... that's for sure.. So please arrange money.. that is the only way to go ahead with the admission..

 

IS THERE ANY BANK WHO GIVE DONATION LOAN for Admission ?????. Education loan se pehle ADMISSION loan hone chaahiye..
