Regarding refund of admission fee
I have a query, If i submit admission money in one school where my ward name is shortlisted. And later if i get a call from school where she is on waiting list, Can i get refund from first school and get her admission done in 2nd school. Also guide as to where can i check the refund policy.

That's the old news you are sharing.. coz many schools like ambience safdarjung has mentioned that they won't return the admission fee and one month fee in lieu of notice.

Sandeep Ji, Some refund mechanism is in place. In my discussion with a teacher of Salwan school she had mentioned that last year many parents were refunded their money after deduction of 500/- as per a rule. We need to figure out that notification/ direction.

Dear Sandep and Amrita, Many schools will tell you that DoE fee refund notification has not come for this year.
All Govt Notifications are valid till new one does not come.
This one is the last one issued and valid.
In case of any doubt then chk with Deputy Dir of your zone.
If you see the link Sakshiji has given and read all media articles, same thing happened earlier and Mr Sumit Vohra got it reissued and new clause was added as earlier schools were supposed to refund balance in one month but Mr Vohra got it changed to fifteen days.
Ambience is money making school and has maximum withdrawals, as many parents block and then change the school.
