Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

It was an online interaction on Google Meet. The panel consisted of 2 teachers, one of them was interacting and asking questions 90% of the duration. We must admit the teacher was extremely polite, friendly and instantly made a connect with our kid and us. She started in Hindi so we asked our daughter to reply in Hindi only. Starting with asking what does she likes ? Our daughter responded toys. Then they asked her to get her favorite set of toys and introduce them. Then they picked one animal based toy and asked her to show how it walks. I believe it was purely looking at how the child responds and understands questions rather than really judging the child's answer/ play. Coming to Parents, they asked us Why we would prefer the school? and 'What do we think about the school website?'. They they asked the mother 'What is your take on the online education system'? Overall it was indeed a two way interaction where they kind of shared their thought process also on our responses. The interaction lasted about 12 minutes.

Please advice on Gyanshree school. Is it a sought after school and good ??

Gyanshree is coming up well.( Some parents are happy after changing from conventional school, some find it money minded)

You should fill the form and take final call when you are asked to submit the fees.

I went on time and reached school at 9:25AM
after that we were taken by school authorities to a Music Room and with proper social distancing norms all were seated with proper distancing .
Later the online form was given to us and we had to attach all documents as per email .
Then after 20 mints we were taken to Principal Mam room for our interaction.

Trust me she is a very nice lady and made us very comfortable and asked about our school choice , jobs , profile and very clearly said that she would she the child in person thru Video call today at around 5 or 6 PM.

She asked us not get tensed about the online interaction of kid and said that she would just observe and advised us that we should rather talk our kid and make her do things that she does(either talking, singing , any daily routine activity).

We came out in 15 minutes but I just say the Prinical is really very good and she calmed all our nerves and tension that we were going thru.
Now waiting for kids online interaction in the evening.
Will keep all updated as this group is of great help to all young parents. Even this group gave me an insight of many things for which I feel we should contribute here so that all get benefitted.

In addition to parents interaction my kid had a VC with Principal Mam (Sommerville) at around 5PM.

She called intillay at 4PM but my little one was sleeping.

She asked not to disturb her and assured she would give a call back by 5 and even if she is sleeping then she ll yet again try at 6PM.A very nice gesture on her part which helped us.

Mam asked me that you people interact and she would just listen to entire conversation

My wife played with my Little one and asked her to recite poems , names of parents , animals .

She did all these stuffs and in a span of 4 minutes of VC and then the call ended.

Now based on further communications from Somerville would update here for information of all others.
