greetings and congratulations for the same.

out of my two years of experience with Somerville below are my feedbacks

1- first things first. It is a traditional school which imparts knowledge to child very effectively through its well qualified and experienced teachers.

2- please remember that for a child early years of learning are very important, specially till age of 7-8 years. And that’s where Somerville is one of the best. It’s teaching methods are very effective for creating a good base for small kids. They also focus on overall development during initial years.

3- My daughter loves to go to school and her ability to interact and apprehend any subject on her own has increased many folds after joining this school. I think this also due to the fact that the overall environment of school is superb when it comes to small kids and they don’t fear teacher or class work or home work and they take it as fun and completes with ease. 

4- their teaching methods are also very good along with some very good experienced teachers. They use smart board in almost every class. Do outdoor activity and also do excursions to nearby areas for practical class/experience. They also stress on phonetics for teaching Hindi or English and have activity based class every day. They have compulsory class for music, dance, drawing, art starting from KG.

5- Last but not the least,  principal man is one of THE BEST. She bonds and binds each and every aspects of school very efficiently ( which is why this school being 30+ years old is still shining).

also teachers are supper efficient and have a detailed view of your child in every PTM.

i think you should definitely go for Somerville without any second thought.
