You need to take you personal transport for first few days , for a week or so.

Only way to motivate is to be with the child at school and all schools allow that.

If you face any issue talk to principal.

Pls double chk with school. i don't think they would not allow parents for first 10-15 days.

Hi Sudeshna, I second Sakshi and being a doctor myself, I can tell you that no one could have explained it in a better way.

As you son requires your presence with him in alien environment and as separation anxiety is also big factor after staying indoors together due to Covid.

Hello Sakshi Maam and Dr Juhi,

Thanks for your valuable insights! The school at the orientation made it clear that parents can pick up/drop off their children but cannot spend additional time with them on the school premises. Therefore, they discourage parents from visiting the school to meet the children without any valid reason.

Still, I will bring this problem to the counsellor, headmistress and class teacher and request them to allow my visit.

Overall, I appreciate the school's care during transport and hopefully in the classroom.

This year schools might not be allowing parents due to Covid protocols given to them to be followed by DDMA or DOE.

Rest no harm in talking to school as they might allow you as spl case.

Thanks Sakshiji for useful tips even I am facing same issue with my younger daughter who went to nursery this year, I was never expecting this as school did not stop us for staying with my son in school 4 yrs back when he went to nursery.
