What is the eligibility age criteria for admission in Nursery...there is no information on website regarding this....

I just called the reception at DPS Sushant Lok. They mentioned that they MAY NOT open the GENERAL category registrations for NURSERY this year, since the number of applications for SIBLING cases are too many. Also, the lady mentioned that the GENERAL category forms sold in the EPIC center exhibition (Mid August) have also been put on hold in the wake of huge SIBLING applicant base.

Since the same pattern is followed by Suncity, Heritage & now DPS Sushant Lok, does this mean decent education is not an option for the FIRST borns?

i know what you are saying... heard heritage has also postponed their admission process for general category as siblings admission will be delayed. its going to get tougher and tougher..

Seriously!! This is ridiculous and to think some states actually reward 'Only Child' policy :))!! Looks like we'd be forced to migrate at such attitude of some schools, at least till we qualify for their crazy policies! They could have attached some weightage to Sibling category but done a common admission process for all - OR - just let it go - why should a first-timer have any less options than a 'Sibling'- its acute nepotism when you look at it!

I think they have committed seats to kids studying in Apple Blossom (first 100 registered to Apple Blossom).........i visited Apple blosson 2 months back and they told that the first preference in DPS Sushant Lok will be given to those 100 kids and then siblings and if any seats are left then to general category.

Sumit, Sakshi - please let us know if Scottish High has closed admission process for NURSERY Class? We were among the first to submit the forms on 23rd but no call yet. People have started getting admission confirmations , at least for KG Class. So wondering whats happening. Need help.

Soumya as per some parents feedback interaction were going on till 2 days back and last date was 29th or 30th to submit the fee ,so u can guess if few parents dont submit fees

,they would have waiting list ,u should call school

Trust me, I try that religiously at least 4-5 times every 4-5 hours , everyday - call me obsessed but I'd really like to know how I missed getting called when we submitted the forms almost just an hour after they were issued. But NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE :(((. I've been trying at the Nos. listed on their site - Phone: +91 124 4112781 to 90; Is there an alternate No. one can call on?

Can't we have an official response from them? Also I read about KG - did some NURSERY folks also write about admission calls?
