Hi Anil, yeah you are a little too harsh but its okay. My confusion comes naturally and maybe so does your harshness. I know what I want and hence I wish it to be confirmed or rebutted in a public forum since I don't know for sure.

Scottish being an International school is bound to be a little westernized but I'm concerned that there would be no balance with Indian values. The urgency to know it once and for all is because the offer to admit has come, why would I be so bothered otherwise? Anyways, conversations with friends have led me to believe there IS a balance, so its okay.

Basic rule of nursery admission | Block first seat

Go for Scottish..Deposit the fees nd ask them how much they will refund !!

Thanks Sumit and Bij! My husband and I have just decided on Scottish ourselves and your opinion helps our conviction. Shall get him enrolled tomorrow. I think only the Admission fees of 50K will not be refunded of the 1.4 odd lakhs if I withdraw the admission.

Dear Soumya,

Congratulations on your child's success in SH!

Please can you let me know for sure how much of the fee will be refunded in case of withdrawing the child later. I am asking this 'cause I heard frm someone that she had to pay a fee of Rs. 1 lac 55 thousand including transportation fee out of which only 40K was refundable. Please reply if you have any idea. Thanks in advance!

Hearty congrats Soumya ji....pls book your seat in atleast one school before scouting for any other...preference of a perticular school should be based on your own criteria and looking at the best possible option available based on the interests of your child...
