If this is applicable in Noida/Up, then we must take stay on ongoing admission process.
see how many parents support you
But almost all the schools in Noida conducting the screening , interacting with child & parents interaction. In recieved mail/ result posted on school gate clearly mention that interaction with parents before final list. Then What is the meaning of this Law?
Everyone from top to bottom is hand in glove ..can u see the HRD notification ?
@Lathaa- The point system as indicated by u dnt have wide spectrum to acomodated every one. some points are very Unfair. Just like Sibling - 20 Points. If u have only one child then u got only 5 points and for sibling it is 20 points .It is very unfair, it means government are decided to promot those have more children. 2nd is girl child . y the girl Child??? criteria should only limited to only one child whether girl /boy. No gender Biasing. Because the 3 years old child they actually dnt know the differnce ? alumni pointshould be there but it should be limited to only 10% of maximum marks that is 10 out of 100.
In Delhi/ NCR 60% of the population belongs to other state so from this point system they will miss 20+20( alumni+sibling) points . That is 40% of Total marks . That means policy is not fair for every one. My suggestion for this : 20 points for one who came from other places (only for 1st child) in last five years. this type of idea will make the transparent and fair system. May be i m wrong ? but we have to think to make it transparent and fair.....

Point system differ from school to school too. That's why Mr.Vohra did a big protest along with parents last year and submitted a memorandum for a reformation in admission process like centralised admission process with common point system to DOE. But still no changes done. Have you seen the video of protestation in our home page?

Thanks Sumit Sir, Sakhsi maa'm & AN.com..for bringing this forward.

Nothing has been done on it so far in UP & Haryana, the two neighbouring states of Delhi, forming NCR. It is duty of the state through its education deptt., to implement and make schools follow the RTE guidelines. Delhi DOE has done it already.

Under such scenario each NCR school and for that matter rest in country (i've seen personally many Bangalore schools) most of them are following this interaction method where they have a choice on their own laid criteria to choose whoever suits to them the best. Some schools are doing it vaguely and some other are using one or more filters in form of informal criteria.

Situation is alarming as almost each established and well known school of Noida is catering to almost 10 times or more nos. of applicants to its nursery admission seating capacity..so shortlisting and final selection on one or more objective or subjective criteria is being followed as the method by these schools.

I think uniformity of the selection criteria, age eligibility & admission calender pan India is the key here which only can be laid out by the central bodies like Min. of HRD & CBSE.

Let's hope for the best...
