Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

Dear Mr Maharam,

Please confirm that why rented accomodation parents need to fill up this affidavit???

The affidavit alongwith Driving licence on the address of that rented accommodation was recommended by Ganguli Committee. Now please do not get confused with the rented accommodation and lease deed. Lease deed should be registered and does not required this affidavit. But if you wish to submit this affidavit then this should be accompanied with DL. (This seems to be unpractical with the recommendation).

Mr. Maharam, My court registered lease rental agreement is only 4 and half months old. Does that mean that my daugther is not eligible for DPS Vasant Kunj.

Dear Puja Gaur, as regards admission, generally all schools considers staying in the present accommodation for the last 6 months from the date of applying for admission. Now it is school specific whether the consider it or reject. You just apply and wait till the verification.

In DPS dwarka they accept Driving Licence jsut confirm from school.

Is springdales kirti nagar a full fledged school or primary school? i am not able to get information about kirti nagar branch as everywhere only dhaula kuan and pusa road are mentioned.

Yes Rashi,it is a full fledged Junior school, part of Pusa Road school...address A-44 KIRTI NAGAR

suparna, i am still confused about springdales as if it is part of pusa road school then why admissions happen seperately at kirti nagar and pusa road for nursery? And after completion of primary education from kirti nagar springdales are the kids promoted to pusa road school?

Hi Rashi,

well donot have lot of details but both have Nursery sections (also due to transport facility)and kids are promoted after they complete Junior section at Kirti Nagar to Pusa branch.

I have a question .... My daughter's name printed on the birth certificate is Simrit ... Her full name is simrit arora ... Should I get the affidavit of the first child made. With name SIMRIT only or can iget the surname also mentioned ... I want her surname also to be there in all school records ?? Kindly advice ... Thanks

then you should make a fresh one BC from concerned department and till then make an affidavit with full name.

It may get problematic, so try to get a new one. These things should have had been completed by now.
