REVISED CRITERIA AND SCHEDULE FOR THE BANYAN TREE (DEAR PARENTS KINDLY NOTE)-

1. THE DIVISION OF GENERAL CATEGORY 50 SEATS "BETWEEN CRITERIA BASED AND LOTTERY", AS LISTED ABOVE, HAS BEEN REMOVED. WHICH MEANS ALL GENERAL CATEGORY SEATS WILL BE NOW DECIDED BY DRAW OF LOTS AS PER REVISED SCHEDULE.
2. THEY HAVE CHANGED THE SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY - HAVING ONLY 1 DRAW OF LOTS ON 23rd JAN'2012 INSTEAD OF 2 DRAW OF LOTS AS PER EARLIER NOTICE POSTED IN THIS THREAD.

ALSO, FEW MORE THINGS-
1. REGISTERATION FORM PAGE 5 SAYS FOR FIRST CHILD - AFFADAVIT FROM 1st CLASS MAGISTRATE, WHILE PAGE 6 SAYS FIRST BORN - "CERTIFICATE/AFFADAVIT ISSUED BY A REVENUE OFFICER NOT BELOW THE RANK OF TEHSILDAR" (PROBABLY THEY HAVE MIXED UP WITH EWS). SO PARENTS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK WITH THE SCHOOL, PROBABLY FOR FIRST CHILD AFFADAVIT FROM 1st CLASS MAGISTRATE SEEMS TO BE CORRECT, REVENUE OFFICER/TEHSILDAR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FIRST CHILD.

Online Registration for Montessori Open from 02-01-2012 to 16-01-2012.

Level-II:
120 seats (Age 3+ as on 31-03-2012)
Level-III: 30 seats (Age 4+ as on 31-03-2012)
First List: 31-01-2012 (On website)
Second List (If any): 15-02-2012 (On Website)
EWS Draw: 30-01-2012 at 10:00 a.m in the school premises.

Break-up of the Point system (For Montessori)

Sibling:
30 points (25% seats reserved for siblings. Admission would be on first cum first basis)
Neighbourhood: 30 points
Transfer Case: 10 points
First Born: 10 points

**** It is too be noted that last year the school gave more points for girl child and results were favourable to only girl child. Last year Our founder Mr.Vohra took great action through media and they have slashed it and now given points to first born child.

In Online Form, parent has to select "Registration for Class" and the options are "Level 2" and "Level 3".

Can you please explain what these two levels mean?

In Montessori System they have 3 levels of training.

Montessori 1st level is equivalent to Pre-Nursery.
Montessori 2nd level is equivalent to Nursery.
Montessori 3rd level is equivalent to Pre-Primary.

So while filling application they ask the level and you have to fill Level 2 for Nursery.

In the Home Page of DPS-MR, in the "latest news/updates" which is running on bottom left side you can find the notice...If u click it this advt will open.
Further, the online admission registration will open on 2nd Jan'2012.
