ST. MARY'S SCHOOL, B-2 SAFDARJUNG ENCLAVE, NEW DELHI's website i.e. http://www.stmarysdelhi.org is not accessible for several days.Does this school have any other active website ?

Hi,,
as my child DOB is 27.03.2008 he will be 4+ so will the schools deny his admission in nursery and take him in KG as i want to apply for nursery as he will just turn 4 and probably be smallest kid in class if taken in KG

please tell your viewpoint regarding presidium how much rating you would give to this school out of 10 would you recommend this school

4-5,the teachers of the school are taking their kids out (my distant relative)

@Rajesh, some schools are asking to bring attested & original copy of birth certificate while purchasing the form.

Every school there is some point given to Transferable column. Is it applicable to school staff kids or we people also.
referring ASN Internationale school criteria

Children of Transferable Employees - 20

Please clarify.

ASN International specified two more thing listed below, what we need to submit for that.

Medical fitness of the child
Proof of transferable job

Delhi Public School, Rohini welcomes you to the Pre-School Admission process for the academic session 2012 -2013.

Registration Form and guidelines for filling the Registration Form

General Information:

Total Number of seats

140

20% Seats for Management Quota

25% Seats for EWS Category

5% Seats for Staff Children

50% Seats for General Category

Age : 3+ as on 31st March 2012.

For General Category Candidates

 Application forms will be available online between Monday, 2nd January 2012 and Monday, 16th January 2012 at http://www.dpsrohini.com.

 A Pay Order / Draft of Rs 25/- (Rupees Twenty five only) drawn in favour of DPS Rohini must be sent to reach Delhi Public School - Rohini, Phase III, Sector - 24, Rohini, New Delhi 110085 latest by Monday, 16th January 2012 along with a print out of the submitted form.

 Forms received after Monday, 16th January 2012 will not be accepted.

 Please keep a photocopy of duly filled registration form for future reference.

For EWS Candidates and Disadvantaged Group

 Application forms for EWS category and Disadvantaged Group can be downloaded from the Directorate of Education website www.edudel.nic.in or by click on the link http://edudel.nic.in/upload_2011_12/6525_34_dt_16122011.html between Monday, 2nd January 2012 and Monday, 16th January 2012.

 Duly filled registration form must be submitted at Delhi Public School - Rohini, Phase-III, Sector-24, Rohini, New Delhi - 110085 between Monday, 2nd January 2012 and Monday, 16th January 2012 on all working days between 7:30 a.m and 3:30 p.m

 Forms received after Monday, 16th January 2012 will not be accepted.

Explanation:

Neighbourhood -

The following areas would be considered for neighbourhood:

a. Rohini including Prashant Vihar

b. Pitampura

c. Paschim Vihar

d. Shalimar Bagh

e. Ashok Vihar

f. Model Town

g. Delhi University Area

h. Punjabi Bagh

Sibling - Only real brother or sister of existing students of DPS Rohini will be considered.

Single Parent - Only widow / widower will be considered for single parent.

Transfer Case - Relocation from anywhere in India (except Delhi & NCR) & abroad in or after April 2011 will be considered.

(This is applicable only to Gazetted Officers of All India Services / PSUs / Autonomous bodies under Govt. of India or
Commissioned officers of Indian Army / Air Force / Navy).

DPS Alumni -

DPS Alumni of core schools wholly owned by DPS Society – ( Father / Mother / Both ) – 20 Points
DPS Alumni of DPS Schools under the aegis of DPS Society other than the core schools( Father / Mother / Both ) – 10 Points

Child with special needs -
Only children with marginal orthopedic special needs who can be mainstreamed within the existing facilities of the school may apply. Appropriate Medical Certificate from a registered specialist associated with a Government Hospital or a recognised established Private Hospital to be attached.

Instructions for Filling up the Online form:

This is an electronic registration form for Delhi Public School, Rohini only. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid rejection of your form. All you need to do is to fill in the boxes with the required information.
Please fill in each entry of the form and write N.A for those entries, which are not applicable to you. Do not leave any entry blank.
Do not press ENTER KEY to move from one field to another. Use “TAB KEY” or mouse control for the same.
After completing the registration form, click on the “Final Submit” button for final registration and printing of the form.
Immediately a registration number will be generated and an acknowledgement mail with weightage details will reach your Email Id.
A print out of the same form should reach the school along with a Pay Order / Draft of Rs 25/- (Rupees Twenty five only) drawn in favour of DPS Rohini latest by Monday, 16th January 2012.
The Admission Formality will be complete only on the receipt of the Pay Order / Draft.
To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one form for one applicant.
Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.

This is the same points system as the previous year! Last year ZERO seats were given to non-Alumni candidates under General category. If you are not a single parent or an Alumni of any DPS or affiliated school, be 100% ready to be rejected in the last round - even if your name gets selected in the draw of lots. Just a word of caution to all the parents out there. Best of luck!

yes Anand ji...DPS Rohini had a very strong bias towards Alumni last year.We hope they will be much considerate this year for normal general category parents too.
