Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

@Prabhjot: Just looked up their form for this year. Last year, BBPS, PP had specified the areas falling within their neighbourhood and parent's had to select from the areas provided in the drop down. Rohini was not listed there and we had all raised our voices. Thankfully, this year there are no specific mention of concerned areas covered. This is good for Rohini people - but bad in the sense no one knows how the 7 Kms will be calculated. Is it according to a map - as the crow flies or actual distance measure on road?? Demography would change drastically .. leaving the field open for more candidates to apply under General Category. So yes, you can apply this year!

Logically it should be all area under 7 km radii but you can never under-estimate IQ of school management :)

Go ahead Prabhjot. Last year it was 3 KM instead of 7. I live in Sec 8 Rohini and therefore could apply in both. In PP I went thru draw of lots though unsuccessful.

That's not true Anandji, last year also both school accepted the forms. It depends where the parents stay. Parents staying in Sec 8, Sec 14 Extn could apply. If I remember correctly they had the criteria of 3KM radius

Wow - Guptaji .. I believe I missed my chances for admissions in BBPS PP last year :(. I stay well within the 3 Kms limit but couldn't apply since Rohini was not listed in the list of neighborhood. Did you apply under "Other area"?

I don't rememebr exactly but it was specifically mentioned in the instructions to fill the form. As I told you I went thru draw of lots though unsuccessful. I live in Sec 8. If that was not possible how school selected my son in draw of lots.

it's simple. you can attach a copy of the immunization card of your child, the cover of that has all the details pertaining to the child.
