I attended for rajinder nagar one. they checked original (BC & address proof) few clarification on data filled in the form. hardly took 2 minutes. same for others also.

• Children born between 01‐April‐2007 and 31‐March‐2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for
registration to Pre‐Primary class.
• Transport facility is not available for the students of Pre‐Primary.
• Any incorrect information will result in the cancellation of the admission at any time, even after
commencement of the session.
• Dates of Registration: 18‐Jan‐2012 to 21‐Jan‐2012.
Criteria for Admission :
1. Neighbourhood (40 Points)
A list of all localities in the catchment area of the school with points for each locality is attached.
Required Documents: Ration Card / Passport / Voter ID / Property Tax / Latest Electricity Bill or
MTNL Bill
2. Sibling (30 Points)
The points will be awarded to the applicant only if his/her own brother/sister is studying in
The Mother’s International School.
Required Documents: Photocopy of Fee Receipt
3. Alumni (30 Points)
If one of the parents studied in The Mother’s International School and
• Passed Class X and XII both from the MIS ‐ 30 Points
• Passed only Class X from the MIS ‐ 15 Points
• Passed only Class XII from the MIS ‐ 15 Points
Required Documents:
Photocopy of AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII) Pass Certificate or Mark Sheet
How to Apply
1. For candidates applying under General category
a. Forms to be filled online on our website www.themis.in
b. On successful submission of form, a Registration Number (eg., PP/12/….) will be generated.
If the Registration Number is not generated, please try again.
c. The filled‐in form is to be printed onto an A4 size paper.
d. Recent stamp size photographs of the child and of both the parents to be affixed.
e. Self‐attested photocopies of child’s Birth Certificate, Residence Proof and other required
documents to be attached to the form.
f. The form to be signed by both the parents.
g. The completed form with required documents and a Registration Fee of Rs. 25/‐ in cash to
be submitted to the school office between 18‐Jan‐2012 and 21‐Jan‐2012 on any working
day (8.30 AM to 11.30 AM). School office remains closed on Second Saturdays and all
Sundays. The Acknowledgement Slip will be issued by the school office.
2. For candidates applying under Free Seats category belonging to (i) Economically Weaker Section
& (ii) Disadvantaged Group in the neighbourhood
• The form is to be collected from the school office.
• The form to be filled neatly, recent stamp size photograph of the child and of both the
parents to be affixed and submitted with required documents to the school office on any
working day between 18‐Jan‐2012 and 21‐Jan‐2012 (8.30 AM to 11.30 AM). School office
remains closed on Second Saturdays and all Sundays. The Acknowledgement Slip will be
issued by the school office.
• No Registration Fee will be charged.
• No Points will be awarded to the students of this category. Selection will be made through
draw of lots in the presence of the parents / guardians of the candidates. Information
regarding date, time and venue of draw of lots will be intimated well in advance.
• Documents required for Economically Weaker Section :
i. Proof of residence of Delhi for the last 3 years.
ii. Annual Income Certificate issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of
Tehsildar or BPL Ration Card (Yellow Coloured) or AAY Ration Card (Pink Coloured).
• Documents required for Disadvantaged Group: Disabilities / Scheduled Castes / Scheduled
Tribes / Other Backward Classes (Not falling in the creamy layer) Certificate issued by the
Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or any other competent authority.
(In case of applicants with minimum special needs / disabilities, i.e., a child who can be
mainstreamed under inclusive education, a copy certifying the same from a medical officer
of a Government hospital is to be enclosed.)
Note : For admission under EWS / Disadvantaged group, one of the following documents is
mandatory.
i. Ration Card issued in the name of parents with the name of the child
ii. Domicile Certificate of the child or his/her parents
iii. Voter ID of any one of the parents
iv. Passport in the name of one of the parents
v. Recent electricity bill or MTNL telephone bill or water bill
• School reserves the right to verify the residential address of the applicants through home
visits.
Note:
• Incomplete forms or forms without the supporting documents will not be considered for
admission. No further communication will be entertained.
• Selection for General quota applicants will be based on Point System ONLY.
• In case of a tie, selection will be made through a draw of lots in the presence of the parents /
guardians of the eligible candidates. Date, time and venue of draw of lots will be intimated to
the parents well in advance through e‐mails given by the parents in the forms.
• List of selected candidates will be put up on the school web site on 10‐Feb‐2012 after 3 PM.
• Entry to the school is through Gate No. 3, Sri Aurobindo Marg.

Which School is better- Kumar Mangalam, Vikas Puri or Ved Vyas DAV School, Vikaspuri??/ If one has to choose from these two schools, which would be the best choice..Please guide.

VVDAV. It was in the list of top 10 west delhi schools.

if you see infrastructure and co-curricular activities, K.R.Mangalam wins hands down, good report from few known people who are dealing with this school.

Though Veda Vyasa was in top 10, i wouldn't give too much value to top 10, who knows it might be paid one, rankings are never fully unbiased.

I believe what my eyes see, rather than some random survey. Have gone to both the schools, i doubt there is any difference on academic front, but definetly a difference on other parameters.

My personal: KR Mangalam is atrociously expensive. Since VV is well established, I would still prefer VV. Thought KR has a lot of extra curricular stuff..

Bal Bharti Schools are following the lottery system for selection of child for nursery admissions ? Will parents be informed about the timings of the draw of lots, so that can be present during that time. Any update ?
