Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

Yep, the only mention is here ...

"The court sought a detailed response from the government on this and stayed the operation of the DoE order till the next date of hearing in February"

DPS Vaasant Kunj has published those selected names and our daughters name is not included. Though she is our only girl child and we live in nearby locality i.e. R K Puram still not shortlisted. We are feeling the pinch of admission process . Can we able to enroll her or should govt allow home school ?

Dear Mahima ji,
As per list your child has secured 35 weightage points as per DPS Vasant Kunj's criteria (Neighbourhood max for RK Puram=30, Girl Child=5)...the 1st list of candidates called for documents verification is ranging with points from max 80 to min45..i think your child's name may come in 2nd list which shall be released by the school soon..as document verification process will continue till 27th Jan2012...

1st List of Shortlisted Candidates for Nursery
General Category

Parents of the listed applicants from S. No. 1 – 31 are requested to contact the Admission office at DPS International, RK Puram Branch for verification of documents on January 19th, 2012 between 10:30 - 11:30 am.

Lottery will take place of applicants scoring 35 points, S. No. 32– 59 (inclusive of both numbers), parents are requested to be present at the R.K. Puram branch at 9.30 am. January 19th, 2012. Documents for verification have to be carried.

Payment of Fee: January 19th – 20th, 2012: 9:00am - 3:00 pm (Saket Branch)

Details of Documents to be brought for verification are:

Original Birth Certificate.
In case of foreign nationals, an attested photocopy of the passport and visa.
In case of sibling applicants: The admission order/ latest fee bill of the sibling.
In case of applicants with special needs: Certificate by competent authority. (Subject to the availability of facilities offered by the school)
In case of single parent: A copy of the custody papers.
In case of Multi National Company Employee: Certificate from company stating that they have offices operating in foreign countries (to specify the names) and that the employee may be transferred to any of the offices listed.
In case of Global Transfer: Proof of overseas transfer (2011-2012)
In case of 1st born: Affidavit

This is different school Dps INTERNATIONAL ,you are talking about DPS RKP( CHK EXCEL SHEET I THINK RESULTS WILL COME ON 1FEB..JUST CROSS CHK)

Yes Sumit sir you are right...DPS R K Puram(both Vasant Vihar & East of Kailash Jr. School branches)1st Selected List with Waiting List will be released on 1st Feb2012.

Yes Savleen ji you are right..for DPS R K Puram, Shortlist will come out on 27th January 2012..then there may be a Draw of lots at DPS RK Puram for General Category in case of 'tie' in Weightage Points..for DPS Vasant Vihar it will be at 02:15 p.m.& for DPS East of Kailash at 03:15 p.m. on 31st January 2012...1st Admission List out of this will be released on 1st Feb2012 only.
