Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

Agreed. Distance should be the only criteria .

well with all regards to parents with single child....i have two daughters and i m trying for the admission of my elder daughter in a school now....after two years when i'll be trying for my younger child's admission i'd prefer rather that both the children should go to same school... and i hope it is but natural and desirable...then why so much fuss over Sibling points...just consider the parents who have two children...but yes alumni points are very discouraging...some who is seeking his kids admission now must have passed from the school atleast 8-10 years ago..how come that makes a point for preference is strange...and to top it if the school is giving alumni points for grandparents too...this is simply torture...

I have got my registration no. in (All registered candidates) list but the points are only 25.. will they out another list or will they consider....

Yup this is like the freshers vs experienced candidates argument. No-one is ready to recruiter freshers, everyone wants experienced candidates. You can't get experience unless you get recruited as a freshers. Similarly, every school wants to give brownie points for siblings but then unless you get your first child into a school you can't get sibling points for the next child. :(

Try getting into a DPS or a Spring Dales w/o sibling points..

DPS Dwarka:
“In the event of many applicants getting identical final scores in the lowest eligible score, a limited use of the lottery system would be adopted within these applicants to select children for admission. This eventuality will arise only in case of availability of seats for admission.
The date of draw of lots (if any) and venue will be notified with the first list of selected candidates on Wednesday, 01 Feb 2012 at 4.00 p.m.

28 candidates are there with 45 Points each….i think Lottery will be used amongst them for any seat left after the 1st List.
Tough luck for the next lot of 46 candidates with 40 points each.

Yes maa'm you can be right as you are having actual experince of DPS Dwarka last year..but still we can be hopeful for this year..

Sir with 50 points 40 shortlisted candidates are there for 25 seats. So there will be a draw for 50 points and there are no chances for 2nd list.

Do we have to be present at the time of draw. If our child is selected, will they wait to inform us or proceed with the draw to include next in line.

Alumni (OS) - 24.01.12 (9:00am)

Old Parent(Sibling)- 24.01.12 (12:00 noon)

EWS category - 27.01.12 (2:30 pm)
