Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

General Question :
1 ) At the end, if the non-General category seats are not filled up fully (e.g., EWS, Sibling etc), then those created vacancies, falls back where : General Category ? or Management quota ?
2 ) When will this info (about "vacancy created" due to non-General category not fully filled) from schools be available ?

All, except EWS, if vacant shall come under General/donation/bribe/charity quota. There are hardly few schools who will be transparent enough to declare the information you are asking for. though they need to send final detail (on vacant seat) to DOE in the march end or after that ( i don't remember the date.

6.4.2012 is the date but is applicable only for seats remaining vacant in EWS category

All other is thr stock & they can sell in the way they like

many have already opened their shop to secure(read as buy) a seat on fixed rate. after 1st feb it will be on floating rates/negotiations/sources

almost all schools, including top ones, (there might be very few exceptions) sell seats under management quota (20%). amount of money may differ.

Hey, firstly great work. now I have applied in 18 schools in west delhi and the draw is mostly on 30th jan. is it required to be present in all schools or is the online list enough. please guide!

there is draw for St. Marks janak puri today.. is that correct??? do we need to present there.... if yes, at wat time is the draw.

Schools have to include all the names of absentees too in the draw of lot. If parents are present they will check the register and give a slip and parents are requested to put the slip in the lot jar a generally transparent one. For absentees the schools authorities will put slip in the jar. Eventhough physical presence is not required it is always better to represent ourselves to know about the ongoing process. If not possible try to send any body with the child's application details for your satisfaction. Hope school may accept any representatives too.
