Out of 65 selected candidates from General List,
60 are Siblings
5 are alumni cases
0 is for those 4000 applicants who applied but never belonged to DPS closed society

Shouldnt they ban general public from applying?

Same was the case with DPS Dwarka and DPS Vasant Kunj

Very right, that's why General Category was referred to as Minority by Mr Vohra or/and some media channel !

I agree with you same done by DPS dwarka . sheer partiality !!! IS DOE sleeping on standardized points criteria ? why do we have such authorities when they can't implement such a simple thing ?

Draw of lot system is better than this school specific point system. RTE Act cannot be successful unless alumini points which is a mere screening procedure is removed.

Also were they(DPS Rohini) not supposed to declare the results on 30th Jan..This really came out of blue

Schools will not give admissions to General category unless donations will be paid...At last General Category will go to schools asking for seats under Management Quota and so will pay hefty amounts.....Beside schools make good money by just selling the forms to general category..... Here or there schools will always benefited out of our miseries....This is the most neglected class of India in all sector education, employment etc etc---We are so GENERAL

any idea of the EWS seats....the seats/applications ratio.... i feel like being a fool for paying decent taxes to the government...me too should have never paid tax and claimed to be a poor person instead of someone who works hard to earn just enough to give his family a decent living but (may be) not so decent Education in delhi because neither do i have 3-5 lacs to give donation nor can i afford 10-12000 per month * 2(children) = 25000 per month for school fees...

There should be a certain percentage (say 40%) earmarked for general category excluding sibling, alumni and transfer cases like tagore school has done.

As it appears it is not Right to education (RTE) but Right to exclusion(RTE. Why can't DOE fix points to be given to alumni and siblings...and why are they awarded such high points in any case..This system is just a sham and a shame...
