Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

Due to space constraint and the number of applications being more than 4000, only one of the parent is requested to be present for the draw of lots to be held on 30th January 2012 at 4.00 pm.

I think there are some wrong rumours being spread about Maxfort Dwarka. Even though parents were called for interaction, it was only for informing them about school education, teaching methodology and admission charges since the school is relatively new. The news that parents who paid advance money have made to first cut off list is baseless and completely incorrect.

maxfort dwarka asked an upfront money of rs 35,ooo.and this is not baseless it is true

@rn&Pankaj: Doesn't matter if Maxfort is asking for upfront money - the question is, are they giving you a deduction certificate for the donation? Or are they asking for up-front cash with no receipts? The answer to this would make some difference to the intent of the payment being asked!

@Ranjeet: Thanks for your feedback. This is extremely valuable for other parent's. However, in an atmosphere where everyone from Presentation Convent and DPS to Sachdeva are charging money for admissions (direct/indirect), I would be reluctant to disqualify a school solely on the basis of the fact that they've asked for a donation - because, I wouldn't be left with any school for admissions. However, the fact that this money is being asked in cash without any receipt, does not bode well about the ethics of the school. Thanks once again for sharing your experience and observations!

That's true, they have asked for money upfront, whether you make in first list or last based on point system. Not only MaxFort asking money, VIS-10 asking Rs. 2 lakh in cheque (suprised!), Inderprastha asking Rs. 50,000

Did VIS-10 called you for interaction and asked for paying 2 Lakh in cheque. What was your reaction and final decision?

MaxFort asking Rs. 35,000 in cash withour receipt even before the form purchase/submission process ended

Can someone provide the rating on scale of 1-10 (where 10 is highest) for Dwarka schools:
1) DPS Dwarka
2) Bal Bharti Dwarka
3) Maxfort dwarka
4) Mount Carmel Dwarka
5) VIS Dwarka
6) SVIS Dwarka
7) ITL Dwarka
8) BGS Dwarka
9) IP Dwarka
10) Modern COnvent Dwarka
11) NK Bagrodia Dwarka
12) Basava Dwarka
..any other good school in Dwarka

I think most of other parents based in Dwarka would also be looking for the same

agreed, we dont have luxury to choose. But still in case anyone gets shortlisted in more than 1 then the decision can be quickly made.

totally agree schools choose us... we don;t choose them..so where ever u get just go and get hold... mantra 4 parents like us no alumni..no sibbling points.
