Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

I am perplexed, we dont have a transferable job and therefore in no school do we make more than 45 points (points for neighourhood and first born girl child) thats it, dont know the future of my daughter.

We have not made it to any lists so far, so as a parent what options do I have - a) buy a management quota seat b) buy a seat in out of Delhi school c) home school - dont know if that will work considering the contribution of a school and also the stipulations of schooling boards this is not feasible in India.

@Anshul: Where do you stay? I hope you have applied to at least 15+ schools. Unless you have a sibling or Alumni quota, you can forget the first rung schools. Wait for the dust to settle down - don't loose heart yet. The second and third lists should see you through if you have applied in enough schools!
